The Holy Quran

A book that was revealed 1400 years ago by God on his last Holy Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) by angel Gabriel (according to the Islamic tradition). It is believed that Mohammad (P.B.U.H) achieved excellence in his character by following the principles of the Holy Quran. He is known to be one of the greatest men in human history due to his incomparable leadership skills, his kindness, and mercy not only towards human beings but also for animals and plants, his legislative rules and laws that made Muslim societies one of the most prosperous and just social systems in various ages, his attitude towards women and his quest of getting women rights that were never given them before. These are a few things of his personality that make it so impactful. And all these traits are easily achievable by reading, understanding, and implementing the Holy Quran.

● The Holy Quran has scientifically been proven to carry unbelievable facts about the universe and human beings. It has a great connection with Science, the book of God tells people to think and observe in a time where we are often taught to simply follow and copy, not use our brains too much. Thinking and reflecting upon one’s self and the universe can bring enlightenment and independence. It can create miracles.

The Holy Quran is filled with stories to learn from, these are the stories of Prophets and people from different times having similar problems. Interestingly, human beings of all ages are connected with each other in some way and how relatable can the story be. Each story has a lesson to tell from which one can attain a lot of benefits.

This book also takes people on a journey of God-finding and Knowing Oneself, both the journeys are crucially important to human existence but unfortunately, we are not being taught any of these in our institutions. This has resulted in severe mental, spiritual and health crises in human civilization.

● The Holy Scripture also teaches people acceptance, kindness, giving & generosity, and patience. These human traits can change the world, if and only someone is ready to take the first step and make a life-changing move in his life. Each chapter has been carefully articulated and has something new in treasure for the readers every time they read.

● It is an everyday guide and a comforting friend that can take you through the storms of life with grace and courage. It would give you the confidence to lead from the front. You can learn how to make your experience on Earth enriched, filled with love and joy and how to leave a legacy behind you.

“Whoever does righteousness, male or female, while believing, we will grant them a happy life” | Surah An-Nahl | The Bee | (16:97)

“The good deed and the bad deed are not the same. Return evil with good “| Surat Fussilat | Explained in Detail | (41:34)

Forty Rules of Love

This book has become a worldwide phenomenon, written by one of the most poised female writers of the current times. Writing a book inside a book is itself an art, and Elif Shafaq performed that art meticulously. The book takes you on a journey of love and change. Love is often disguised as some fairytale feeling when it’s not, it’s something much bigger and different than that. Miss. Shafaq proposes a very interesting idea in her book that love is the process of change.

If you are the same person before and after falling in love then it’s not love. The writer has also separated the idea of love from being a very man-woman concept, she has proposed how true love can be of any form.

In this book she has shown love in the form of a friendship between two of the most interesting personalities of that time, Rumi & Shams, their story has transcended ages and continues to be a source of comfort and learning for millions of people.

● The book depicts a story of change and transformation and tells important lessons when it comes to morals.

● It opens the bitter face of society to the readers and tells how interestingly similar can two different ages be.

● My favorite parts of the book are Shams E Tabrizi’s anecdotes on life and people, even after years of reading the book for the first time, I still go back to relearn some of the most important lessons of life.

● The forty rules of love that have been carefully inserted in different parts of the book by the author also prove to be a great treat for the readers, they teach the readers both lessons on life and love.

● Last but not the least, the Sufistic and Islamic side of the book, Miss Shafaq tries to depict the image of the true Islam that is forgiving, kind, patient, and wise, this Islam is tarnished by Muslims themselves and different agendas.

“Every true love and friendship is a story of unexpected transformation. If we are the same person before and after we loved, that means we haven’t loved enough.” Forty Rules of Love — Elif Shafak

Rich Dad Poor Dad

Many times people are taught this idea in real life, books, and movies, that money can’t buy happiness, that’s an absurd thing to tell people that does not let them grow financially and emotionally. Most of the world’s problems and crimes result from poor financial conditions. Financial inferiority makes people do horrible things not only to others but also to themselves. Most of the serial killers become lifetime murderers for money. Money is the root of so many problems. In the book Rich Dad Poor Dad, the author Robert Kyosaki tells people the solution for combatting this lethal problem that has been destroying people in so many ways.

With money, you can enjoy freedom, something that every human soul yearns but very few are ready to work forThe desire for money is not bad it can liberate you. The real bad thing is not to work hard and smart to achieve and secure it.

● Robert explains the psyche of human beings when it comes to money, he tells the tale of his two dads, one rich and the other poor. The reason behind the rich being a rich man and the poor being poor is not circumstances or education it is the mind. Learning about the mindsets of these two dads is surely a treat that every reader would enjoy.

● The writer explains the class system of the world and how each class is different from the other. It tells the reader to go out of the box and build a life for themselves from which they won’t need many breaks

The amount of financial education and literacy this book gives is something priceless, something that is not taught in schools and colleges because if people started learning how to use their money in a way that they’d become rich and free, capitalism would get affected which is a phenomenon that controls and enslaves people.

From this book, one can learn the very basic yet crucial art of money, what it is, how to multiply it, and how to use it in a way that would give you freedom for life.

“Proper physical exercise increases your chances of health, and proper mental exercise increases your chances for wealth. Laziness decreases both health and wealth.”  Rich Dad Poor Dad — Robert T. Kiyosaki
