In a literal sense, migration or displacement is supposed that a
person moves from his or her native place within a country and across the
border. According to the reports of the UN which revealed that “one in 30 people
are migrants around the globe”. Furthermore, migration is the most uncertain
phenomenon, the IOM statistics stated that the current worldwide international
migrations are around 281 million, which equates to 3.6 percent of the global
population. But above all the Asia-Pacific Region (APR) countries are hosting
the highest number of migrates. Although, Southern Asia and South East Asia is
the thick populous region of the world. As well as owning a significant number
of migrates, international labor migrates, and IDPs. The region is still
viewing the large-scale irregular migration due to political turmoil, economic

Migration is the root cause of many other problems. The
distinguished among all is that it shrinks and detracts day-to-day activities.
First and foremost, it creates unsustainable impacts by imposing the signs of
unequal development. Mass migration from one locality to another one rise the
mismanagement at both spheres. On one hand, the availability of the labor force
becomes limited, and to achieve the desired end, it usually opts for child
labor in an unethical way. Evermore, the fundamental rights of the children do
not address in a good shape. On the other hand, when the influx of the people
is in high ratio, it multiple challenges of the refugee settlement. In
addition, it ports uncertainty for the local authorities to handle the refugees
and host population with true hands. Due to such massive migration into the
particular region, decent work opportunities have also become inadequate. The
hosting country with low economic status has less potential to facilitate the
new population. So, the quality of life of the society goes into a decline
position. Finally, climate change, which is presumed the most serious threat to
mankind is not doing the right. However, the rate of compulsion is reaching
high to leave the current position of living in need of a proper and friendly
environment to run the agricultural sector for maximum production.
There should be a tangible movement around the globe bridging
all the worthy partners working for the challenge of the migration and
contextual to share and exchange the artful experiences, first-hand knowledge,
and ongoing practices for addressing the just migration management, quick
crisis response, and locating the subjective impacts of the particular events
either on a local, national or global level. Moreover, it is also significant
to make the effective collaboration of international donor agencies with the
aid of the private societies, benevolent institutions, civil societies, and
other think tanks for taking apt arrangements for the migrated folks, ensuring
food security, focusing on the child labor issues, creating and racing the
decent work opportunities for the despaired masses and taking the proactive
measures to reduce the negative effects of climate change in the respective
region.
Last but not the least, the core purpose of any future policy is
to take the most-watched initiatives, working policies, and framework, on the
regional scale to secure the edge of the actual development and draw the lines
of the commitments in the sectorial policy to improve the agricultural
production, rural development, youth employment (by providing the decent
working opportunities without any discrimination), ending the child labor
practices, climate change and social protection in a smooth manner. To plug the
common existing gaps, there is a need for consolidated integration among all
the stakeholders to kick down the hard situation with tangible ideas and
thoughts.
