Apps and Websites That Will Help You Ace Your Studies

0

Being a former high school student myself, I had little to no guidance aside from whatever I gathered from within the four walls of my classroom. And between the two of us, there wasn’t much that got across my head in the class either. I found myself being torn apart between wanting to study and not understanding the core concepts of my subjects. That is when I embarked on the journey of any external guidance and assistance I could possibly seek. As a result, I came across a number of websites and apps, all of which were a great help to me. For this reason, I understand your struggle of being lost in your academic life quite well. Therefore, I have listed below all the platforms and sources you can use to ease out difficulties for yourself.

On that note, let’s get right into it!

Khan Academy

I am of the opinion that it is impossible to be a high school or college student in this modern era and be unaware of Khan Academy. One simply cannot find a better source of guidance than this nonprofit organization. You can find lectures about almost any topic in any subject on the Academy’s website. And if that wasn’t already enough, Khan Academy allows you to create your own study schedule and content (from the free courses being offered) and also offers appropriate tools to test your own understanding of the respective course.

I personally used to watch Khan Academy’s lectures for mathematics and namely, trigonometry. Needless to say, I could not ask for a better sense of direction. I owe at least 50% of my mathematics grade to Khan Academy.

Z Notes

If your exams are hastily approaching and you have little time to get your life and studies together, Z notes are for you! It is a renowned platform over which you can find precise notes regarding your major subjects. The website also has notes available in accordance with different codes of courses offered by a particular education board e.g. Cambridge and Edexcel, etc. Not only this, but this lifesaving website also offers other appealing study perks that you can highly benefit from.

Z notes took away my worry about having to prepare final revision notes for AS Psychology. Instead, I got them already prepared and all I had to do was keep my procrastination in check!

The Organic Chemistry Tutor

The Organic Chemistry Tutor is an educational YouTube channel run by Julio Gonzales. The informational channel has lectures available about several subjects ranging from complex mathematics, chemistry, biology, and even taxes. The channel’s educational videos also have a number of practice problems that will help you gain confidence in what you just learned.

Quizizz

If you are done with your preparation and wish to test yourself before the big exam, Quizizz has got you’re back. Hands down, it is not only the most engaging and incomparable practice website, but it also has an incredibly catchy and user-friendly interface. It is sure to keep you hooked with its challenging questions for a long time. You can choose the practice test that you want to take, as well as the time it, and take advantage of the hints provided to you. What more could one ask for?

Plus, the instant feedback provided will enhance your learning adventure as well.

Photomath

Unlike the prior mentioned platforms, Photomath is a phone app that you can take help from for mathematics. All you have to do is the question you are unable to solve and a functional phone camera. Take a picture of the unsolved problem from the app and voila, your question is solved! It will provide you with all the steps required to attempt a question along with the final answer.

However, I wouldn’t advise you to completely rely on the app for your homework. That way, you will end up developing a dependency on your mathematics skills and gain nothing in the long run. Instead, try and use it strictly only for the purpose of learning your errors or the correct method to solve questions from a certain topic.

Allmath.com

AllMath is an online website that provides hundreds of calculators for students. This website offers 350+ calculators for mathematics, physics, chemistry, & statistics. Students can use this site for the preparation for exams and the completion of assignments.

The students can get the step-by-step solution to the various problems of calculus, physics, chemistry, &statistics. AllMath also provides the content of each blog to understand the concept of each tool accurately.

The students who get afraid of long calculations of limits, derivatives, Taylor series, the sum of squares, mole, variance, centripetal force, etc. can use this source to solve these problems in a fraction of seconds.
