Image text: It is a picture of the countenance of a silly clown. He has a happy face with paint marks and colorful helium balloons behind him. A silly clown is not merely a clown; they have hundreds of stories to tell.
“The
Silly Clown” Text
The Oscillation of cute furballs,
Mere anxiety and chaos.
Those colorful shots,
With aesthetic shimmery gloss.
Vibrant smiles with eyes cross.
The juggling of balls,
Reflects their demented thoughts.
A clown is not only in clothes,
Lesson to many of those.
Their attire is to distract the distress,
Since they know what it costs.
Inside they are off the toss,
To World, they are winning the toss.
Nevertheless,
They know Euphoria is a negation to gross.
Vocabulary:
Oscillation:
moving here and there, Shots: spots of paints, Demented:
confused because of anger and distress, Euphoria: a movement of
extreme happiness, Gross: mundane.
Short
Analysis:
This
poem brings an illumination on a positive side of a silly clown. Doubtlessly,
they know it is not an easy task to pretend people are foolish beings and do
tricks or jokes to keep your spectators happy and bring a bright and energetic
smile on their faces. But it does not mean they do not have emotions and
feelings, they do! However, they ought to let them know their spectators that
they must be happy in whatever circumstances they encounter otherwise. Nothing
is permanent in this world.
As Heraclius said,
“There
is nothing permanent except change”
Apparently,
silly clowns always catch our attention; their pretentious attention can be the
symbolism that one should cheer in every episode of life. “Anxiety”, “cross”,
“demented”, gross”, these words are the symbolism of the inner struggles of a
silly clown from which they are going through. The late-night walking on roads
is solely the outcome of their distress and the violent situations in which
they live and grow.
Their
beautiful clothes and colors are not just the beautiful clothes and colors;
they rather put a masque on their personality to show that you should not mourn
upon your deprived circumstances; but rather celebrate the present times that
assuredly bring you happiness out of chaos. It is a key to life, when you cheer
yourself even in your tiring times your life would not be miserable to
live.
The poem is (originally) written and analyzed by Avisra Ijaz, one of the contributors to the School of Literature.
