From the hands that rinse your windows on busy pavements to the ones getting involved with dangerous tools, the dynamic picture of social inequities has deprived the child of the innocence of their childhood all along hindering their development.
From
working in dangerous conditions to being exploited due to inadequate social
protection measures has rampant child labor. Rather than stimulating their
growth it makes them vulnerable to poverty and harms the child in all facets.
Unemployment:
The economic stagnation due to the inadequacy to provide necessities and social protection is the common challenge that makes them vulnerable to unemployment. The interplay of inflation and employment forced the families to send their children out to work to meet the essential subsistence expenditures. Under hazardous and unpredictable conditions, they work without taking into consideration the strength their body can endure to their torn clothes and unshod feet. The only goal in their mind is to earns one bread and to support the one they left back at home.

Poverty:
The
child has to follow in the footsteps of their elders when it comes to trading.
The mindset with the amalgamation of tradition has deprived the child's rights
of schooling.
The families who are strained by financial difficulties failed to provide the educational grounding to their children that ultimately leads them towards the exploitation of their rights and needs. From working in family enterprises to repeating patterns, it is the norms that interfere in child character building.
Lack
of education
There
is no denying the fact that the contentious issue of household poverty leads to
illiteracy.
The
inseparable bond between education and child labor alleviates the suffering of
the poor as the changing market and social conditions have further strengthened
this link. They leave school to enter the labor force and end up in the chains
that limit their chances of prosperity and opulence. The absence of the
integrated strategy to the legislation has shaped the perception of childhood
for the ones who want to wear a uniform and carry a bag pack of
substance.
Overpopulation
From
placing the demand on land and resources that leads to impacting the global
economic and environmental issues and overall affecting the standards of living
came under the umbrella of overpopulation which is indeed the major factor that
pushes the children towards the potential child laborers. The intergenerational
cycle of poverty continues the exploitation that has severe consequences on the
families forcing their children to follow the legacy. The policies along with
the individual responsibilities are pivotal in the new era of urbanization that
further helps to secure children's rights.
Disturbing
the social fabric of society, the dilemma of child labor causes social
inequality that leads to discrimination and restricting the fundamental rights
of children. The detriments of child labor should not be overlooked for the sustainable
future of the country. Indeed, it’s a form of abuse that threatening humanity
with a giant force and perpetuates the social problems in society.
