can be defined as a complete state of the physical, mental, social, and spiritual
well-being of an individual. April 7th is celebrated as a health day
in the whole world. The cleanliness of public Places is most important for the wellness
of individuals. Health is also important for students because researches show
that healthy behavior and better academic achievements have a strong
connection.
There I mentioned 8 tips and tricks that help you to stay healthy in your life;
1: Eat a healthy diet
You should eat a combination of different
food like fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains. Always use vegetables in your meal
that helps you to improve your intake of fruits and vegetables. Adults should eat
at least 400g of fruits and vegetables per day.
You should also, include eggs in your daily
diet because eggs have minimal effect on blood cholesterol and it is a good
source of protein and nutrients. From a healthy diet plan, you can reduce the risk
of diseases like diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer.
2: Less use of salt and sugar
Sugary drinks like juice and sweetened teas
are the main sources of added sugar in our diet. Researches show that
sugar-sweetened drinks can increase the risk of heart disease and diabetes.
High usage of sugar can leads to tooth decay in both children and adults.
On
the other hand, maximum use of salt can also cause diseases like high blood
pressure. Filipinos use double the amount of salt that puts them at risk of
high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. The exact amount of salt for
daily use is 5g.
3: Don’t fear coffee
Opposite to some discussion over it, coffee
is full of health benefits. It is full of antioxidants, and intake of coffee is
linked to longevity and reduces the risk of Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and other
illnesses.
The most beneficial intake amount of coffee is
3 to 4 cups per day. The excessive use of it can lead to health issues like
insomnia, and heart palpitations. Pregnant women also should avoid it.
4: Get enough sleep
A better sleep of night makes sure that your body recovers. The importance of enough sleep is can not be overstated. Poor sleep can disrupt appetite hormones and reduce mental performance.
8 hours are enough to sleep for adults. Poor sleep potentially leading to unwanted weight gain. It can also cause obesity.
5: Stay hydrated
Drinking safe water is the best way to stay hydrated. Clean water is free of germs, calories, sugar, and additives. Hydration is important for health and it ensures that your body is functioning well and blood volume is sufficient.
Drinking unsafe water causes many diseases
like cholera, diarrhea, hepatitis, typhoid, polio. All over the world, at least
2 billion people use drinking water contaminated with feces.
6: Nurture your social relationships
Relationships with your family, friends, and loved ones you care about are not only important but also necessary for your physical health and mental well-being.
So, stay in touch with your social circle. Be in touch with your family and community. Researchers show that people who have strong social circles are healthier and live much longer.
