Mahrukh Shah is a Master's degree holder in English
Literature from The University of The Punjab. Having lived all over Pakistan and
abroad with her military family, she now permanently resides in Islamabad.
Being an educator, she has vast experience of teaching English to university,
college, O level, and middle-tier students. However, giving flight to her
thoughts through the written word is her passion. She loves writing poetry and
prose and articulately expresses herself as she has remarkable command over the
English language. Her motto is: "Ah, but man’s reach should exceed his
grasp, or what’s a heaven for?"(Robert Browning) and she puts her heart
and soul into all her endeavors. Apart from her considerable academic exposure, she is
also working as a contributor with the team of the School of Literature. She
