The Role of Media in Manufacturing Opinion on Violence

0

In this epoch, every human being needs the media, which has some praising or adverse impact on their lives. We, as social beings, are dependent on the media. What the media declares us we believe on this, either it's fabricated or the truth. Somehow, we all stopped learning from books and history. We only focus on what the media tells us is correct without investigating that.

That's how the media exploits our lives and makes us puppets. So, from my stance, this dependency on the media easily plays a role in manufacturing different opinions on violence in our minds. To further explore this, in 2008, Japanese researchers examined whether juveniles who played violent games were more belligerent as compared to those youngsters who mostly played bright games. So this petite erratic behavior of the media has a numerous impact on human dynamism.

Sometimes it will cause a dispute because when a person grows into a violent orb, they will not be able to deal with incompatible situations with forbearance and non-violently. Also, if you see our entertainment arenas, they mostly picturized negativity, like what pessimistic things happen in society, they cover that. The dramas you see have such abusive scripts and dialogue and cruel temperaments. What do you speculate about the kind of knowledge our youths get from it? The abusive language, the brutality, the negativity... Besides all this stuff, we mainly hear the phrase that "21st - century youth are short-tempered, depressed, and easily accessible to suicide." But nobody sleeps on it why do they are like that? What's the logic behind all these circumstances? If a person is already horrendous, and they turn on their TV for some alleviation, and they see illogical dramas full of depression, unpleasant, and anxiety-provoking material, what should he do at the moment; feel their situation?

They get into deeper depths of dismay due to this; they commit suicide. Also, some flicks openly tell criminals that if you do white-collar crime with proper planning, it must be challenging for security institutions to chase them. So how do you reduce your crime rate when you generate this type of stuff? But unfortunately, in most states, the media is free from the judiciary, so nevertheless no one can mean out that problem publicly.

In addition, the emergence of the Islamophobia element is an immense example of agency miscommunication or media manipulation. How they cover that religion negatively and inferiorly throughout the world and the same as with some other religions or cultures too. In the article "Arab stereotypes and American educators," the writers cite that the amusement film Aladdin manipulates the Arab culture. which is paramount in emerging the identity and culture[1]based confrontation between Arabs and Americans. In my contention, the media now wholly focus on their ratings rather than the problem, just like they admiringly focus on the discrimination against women, how they get raped, how Colleen fetch into domestic violence, and why they are not complimentary for education and the rest of the things. They always imply the finger at the males for this circumstance.

Are men never discriminated against anywhere? If so, who violated their rights, although they are the suspects? Why do the media haze that? In actuality, men are treated like monarchs. Do they have access to everything, including education, and what about transgender rights? Why do they appear to be an inferior part of society? And again, why do the media not give them importance? Is it because, they are not perceived as a social problem, or they aren't given a high rating by channels? They have no concerns with women's rights.

They just want popularity. Not only that, but they don't want to resolve this issue. Although they work as a fuel for this in the shape of different thoughts like feminism, they use these issues as their steps toward profit, rating, or maybe sometimes to hide another vital matter from the people. We are too far from the facts and the root cause of any conflict because we see the surface conflict with the views of sorcerers(media). If we see mostly sorcerers playing with our minds, they perplex us in various matters. it beats us in between reality and imagination, and they hallucinate humans. To sum up all this, the media can build a perception of anything. In the modern era, the media is the most information-getting platform. I suggest that the media mainly shows facts and positive content and do not show sensitive content openly.

Portray the peaceful aspects of any society, culture, and religion because criticism of this causes violent conflicts. Posting positive posts on social media will also build positive thinking in youthful people. And also we need to investigate every news and knowledge before getting into a critique.
