Robert Frost, one of the most prominent poets of
the twentieth century, is recognized as an American national poet and a
modern-day pioneer of American literary circles. He often uses New England
settings in his poetry to present powerful rural flavors with a metaphysical
connotation in his descriptive depictions of nature.
Frost uses conventional literary writing methods
while still introducing new innovations and eventually developing his own
interpretation of transcendental poetics from a higher viewpoint and at a
deeper level than most other poets. As a result, Frost made the transition from
a conventional literary perspective to a new one.
In his writing, irregular verse styles, fragmentary lines, studied allusions, complicated satirical comparisons, and abstruse symbolism are all absent, which are all features of contemporary poetry. Any opponents, on the other hand, argue that Frost is simply a modern poet. Apart from this, Frost was somehow different from modern poets as well because he kept some traditional poetic style.
